What changes

Stop reconstructing the shift after it's over.

Most filament factories already have the data somewhere: in a machine screen, a binder, a spreadsheet, a supervisor's memory, an R&D note, or an end-of-shift report. The problem is that it arrives after the production or engineering decision window has closed.

Before Without acqSYS

  • Orders are copied between sales, planning, production, and warehouse tools.
  • Operators rely on binders, spreadsheets, memory, or supervisor instructions.
  • Quality issues are discovered after material is already wasted.
  • Line status, downtime, and output are reconstructed at the end of a shift.
  • Process trends, product behavior, and reports require exports, spreadsheet cleanup, and manual interpretation.
  • Transition production is hard to count, label, sell, or explain.

After With acqSYS

  • Orders, jobs, lines, spools, quality, labels, and fulfillment are connected.
  • Operators see the correct recipe, setup, targets, and shift context on screen.
  • Supervisors see live progress, deviations, downtime, and comments as work happens.
  • Managers and technologists see KPIs, OEE, quality trends, process stability, and delivery risk from any browser.
  • Every spool has a production history — order, job, line, operator, recipe, QC.
  • Transition spools are tracked, QC'd, labelled, and sold separately from standard output.
End-to-end workflow

One platform for the full production loop.

From the moment an order enters the backlog to the moment a labelled spool leaves the warehouse — and from the first process signal to the next optimization review — every step is connected, recorded, and visible to the people who need it.

Walk through
AI Two AI workflows

Plan before production. Improve after evidence.

acqSYS has two distinct AI layers. AI Production Planning Agent is the planning workflow that turns selected demand into optimized, editable, scheduler-validated schedules. AI Process Advisor is the beta process-advisory workflow for technologist review after spool, QC, and telemetry evidence exists.

AI Production Planning Agent, plan ready: a single-line Line 2 schedule with four proposed jobs and Accept & schedule.

Planning agent

  • Starts from selected orders and backlog, not a blank prompt.
  • Generates scenarios, asks manager decisions, and supports hand-edited revisions.
  • Commits accepted plans through the existing validated scheduler.

Advisor beta

  • Surfaces quality-risk and performance-stability signals from spool telemetry and QC context.
  • Supports technologist review without silently controlling equipment.
  • Points toward autonomous setup, closed-loop control, and formulation R&D automation.

Integrations & data acquisition

Your orders in. Your line telemetry in. Ready to connect.

acqSYS connects to the systems you already run — no rip-and-replace. Commerce and ERP demand can enter the same production workflow instead of becoming mystery work on the floor.

Commerce & ERP

  • Shopify — orders in, inventory and fulfillment back. Live.
  • Odoo — sale-order pull, status notes, inventory update, and fulfillment sync. Live.
  • Guided spreadsheet import on Professional, plus new standard platform connectors as they ship.
  • REST API and webhooks on Enterprise for custom system integration.

Line telemetry

  • Validated protocol connectors — OPC UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT, Beckhoff ADS, EtherCAT — scoped and configured by acqSYS.
  • Approved line signals — including energy consumption when measurable — feed monitoring, QC, reports, traceability, and alerts from the same production and process record.
  • VPN tunnel or acqSYS gateway options are scoped with your IT and automation team during onboarding.

The daily dashboard

Open your browser. See the factory clearly.

The dashboard is for the first question of the day: what needs attention now? Owners, managers, supervisors, and technologists see the current floor picture before a walkaround becomes the reporting system.

  • Spools produced today, recent output trend, quality rate, OEE.
  • Line status: running, preparing, paused, idle, maintenance.
  • Current jobs with product, operator, progress, and timing.
  • Alerts and job comments requiring attention.
  • Upcoming delivery work and fulfillment progress.

Transition production

From unclear waste to managed product.

Color changes, warm-up material, and transition runs often produce usable filament — but many factories cannot count, QC, label, or sell it cleanly.

acqSYS treats transition production as managed output: separate transition jobs during changeover, full spool-level QC and traceability, dedicated labels and product identity, separate counts during fulfillment, and exclusion from normal OEE so performance metrics stay meaningful.

Result: better material use, cleaner accounting, more sellable stock, and less hidden production loss.

FAQ

Common questions before the first demo.

Short answers for the first filters: whether acqSYS is truly filament-focused, how line pricing works, what the demo includes, and how machine data is scoped.

Is acqSYS just a generic MES with filament labels?

No. acqSYS is built for filament extrusion. It distinguishes a manufacturing formula from a sellable SKU, classifies spools as passed / length fault / diameter fault rather than a single pass/fail, tracks transition production as sellable product, and separates preparation time from production time so OEE stays meaningful. These are filament-production realities, not generic-manufacturing add-ons.

What counts as a production line?

A production line is the line you connect to acqSYS — typically an extruder with its cooling baths, haul-off, winder, and associated equipment. Pricing is per production line, not per configuration, so you can freely adjust that line's setup inside acqSYS without creating a new billing unit. Users are unlimited on every tier.

Can I try it without talking to sales?

Yes. Register at demo.acqsys.eu/register for a 7-day account with Professional-tier workflows and three simulated production lines. No credit card required.

What machine data can acqSYS read?

Live line telemetry — diameter (1 to 3 axes), speed, temperature, pressure, energy consumption, and the measurable signals you choose to bring in — through validated protocol connectors for OPC UA, Modbus TCP, MQTT, Beckhoff ADS, and EtherCAT. If a value is measurable and reachable, acqSYS can track it; connection scope is confirmed during onboarding.

Does acqSYS only do filament?

Yes — that focus is the point. acqSYS is built and maintained for 3D printing filament manufacturing, with feedback from the lines it runs on. It is not a horizontal platform stretched to fit.
